Cons: Pricey option, especially with added options
After we had our first child, we bought among the safest car seats we could find and we purchased one of the best strollers we can find. And the two were great, less or more. The car seat was supportive for our son, and it gave us reassurance. However, it had been savagely heavy. And also the stroller was responsive and rugged and had good storage space underneath, but it was large and bulky when dropped. Worst of all? The vehicle seat and stroller weren't compatible, so every time we had to transition that our baby from car to stroller or vice-versa, we needed to unbuckle himscoop him up, and strap him straight back in, which basically guaranteed hysterical crying.
Why you are going to love it: The Nuna DEMI Grow Stroller is lightweight yet hardy, it folds with ease, and could accommodate two children simultaneously.
The stroller is light and nimble , turning on a dime with one hand over the handlebar, yet it rolls over bumps and rough road easily, absorbing much of the vibration. The storage basket below is ample enough to a medium sized grocery shopping along with the hood provides lots of sun protection for our baby girl.
Together with the car seat configuration, the DEMI Grow may also accommodate an infant seat, a toddler seat, and it could also be used together with two children at exactly the identical time within an over/under configuration. Full disclosure, we have never attempted that arrangement, because we have a couple of different strollers for our older kid.
And in a write up from Small Baby Gear, the DEMI Grow was hailed as "functional and simple," simple to fold up or set up, and using a dozen"seating configuration choices."
Pros: Lightweight and nimble, multiple configuration options, fast and easy compact folding
But there are two reasons above all the DEMI Grow was a game changer. First, it functions together with all our Nuna PIPA Lite car seat, so we never need to rouse a sleeping baby to change from car to stroller. Secondly, the DEMI Grow is so lightweight that my spouse can easily lift it into the trunk of an SUV, and it folds down small enough to add a slender coat closet at home.
A customer inspection left on Nordstrom's website echoes some of my sentiments, stating the DEMI Grow"is made soundly but remains light," adding the good point that it"is made of gorgeous fabrics."
