A post from Mom's Stroller Reviews claims the Cameleon's"maneuverability is totally great" and appreciates "the all-terrain wheels are foam filled." And a survey of ratings left over the respected website Consumer Affairs discovered that the stroller has a typical 4.5-star rating among its most satisfied owners.
Now to be honest, even when packed down, this stroller is still pretty bulky. Again, yes, it is very expensive. But I'll bet you too would look at buying another after years spent together with your initial.
In terms of child comfort, this stroller is tough to beat. The bassinet is heavy, softly cushioned, and will keep a baby warm and protected from sunlight. The chair tilts to varying positions to allow a kid to recline for a rest or sit up when they would like to see everything about them.
Why you are going to love itThe Bugaboo Cameleon Stroller is a transformer that goes from a bassinet into a three place, dual-direction seat that may carry children from birth to age three.
During its lifespan, our Cameleon logged over 2,000 miles by my estimation. That factors in an almost everyday walk which was more than just two kilometers long and thousands of errands, museum and zoo visits, all-day excursions throughout vacations, and so forth. We utilized our Cameleon five or seven days per week in the initial times when our son was born through the day its central locking mechanism snapped, making the staircase a fancy paperweight. All those years and the numerous miles make the $1,200 price tag a lot easier to stomach.
Every bit of this stroller which can be removed for storage or through a reconfiguration is controlled through clear white buttons, clasps, or locks which are easily identified and simple to operate.
Experts: Great maneuverability, easy to accommodate diverse configurations, smooth and responsive steering
We have also always loved the large storage bag that slings under the stroller and also the adult's cup holder that clips on the handle. With practice, I discovered to get the stroller into its traveling bag in around three minutes, a fantastic supply of dad pride. (Dads understand what I am referring to. Moms, also.)
While I say simplicity of usage, I mean 2 things. To begin with, it is very easy to steer, reacting as long as you navigate tight ends, trundle up or down, or push the stroller's foam-filled tires across demanding terrain. Second, the flexible, modular stroller is easy to configure in a variety of ways. The framework moves from a toddler's bassinet to an infant's seat into a toddler-sized setup in just a couple minutes.
(And by the way, that's the correct spelling, maybe not"chameleon" such as,y'knowthe chameleon.) Nevertheless, while our Bugaboo Cameleon finally broke following almost exactly four years of nearly daily usage, imagine what stroller we purchased to replace it? Another Bugaboo.
Disadvantages: Very expensive, rather bulky
